This body of work explores derelict and overlooked areas of urban spaces. I am interested in both the romantic and the unwanted notions of ruins. Since starting these drawings I have discovered that T.S.Elliots’ poem the ‘Wasteland’ has greatly inspired and moved these works along. Some of these images start their lives as etchings and then sometimes move on into screen prints and mixed media.
